Bet on AI
Business structures have changed over time. In the 20th century most of the energy of a corporation was expended internally. Now it's not.
It is often the case that what we see depends on where we look. With traditional firms, the value of new technology is hard to see because the operations of the firm are internally driven.
New technologies may require a reimagined firm with value adds coming outside the business process. Management measuring how much faster an internal process occurs may not see AI’s adding to the value of the company.
Intelligence, human or machine, gets priced, not just volume.
